1.My life is extremely teleological. I used to live with a stellar point of view but I found it got in the way of my goals and just in general living my life because I was so busy reacting to others. Even when forced to read other people's thoughts I still found it had no effect on me because I am extremely goal orientated right now. It may seem rude but frankly I need to be concerned with my own life now. I'm drained dealing with the lives of others. If we let ourselves just fall into the sea of others , we will be a drifter all our lives.
2. I love the word labyrinth. It means maze but there is so much more going on in it. There are pitfalls, trick openings and areas that just makes no sense. I think that is what the designer of this story wanted us get out of this particular tale. So much is going on that we have to carefully inspect the pieces of the story to figure it out.

I don't see your view on time to be rude at all. I am not saying this because I hold the same views because honestly I'm not sure if I do but I know I do understand what you are saying. There are times when I absolutely have to get things done and the last thing I want to do is be concerned with the lives of others. There are times when isolating yourself from others isn't a bad thing. However, I do not recommend shutting the rest of the world out completely. It is important to be in tune with others around you or you might end up like Bernie Madoff.
ReplyDeleteI understand where you are coming from with the whole being into your goals right now, however one thing that someone else does to you can ruin that whole plan. Maybe not even someone else but an entropic event can mess with your whole design for your life. You must admit others and their lives do affect you and yours in some way.
ReplyDeleteSince your live is repeated the same everyday, somtimes someone might interupt you even it's very small thing, but you didn't realized it. For instance, when you stayed in the library, you was also interupted by some people talking on the phone. You might have the same routine, but I think that it might change little bit.
ReplyDeleteWhat are your thoughts on karma?
ReplyDeleteMy fiance would probably say I am karma orientated. I probably use the word 5 times a day. I let go of a lot of issues/ arguments because in the end people will get what they served. If someone wants to do something wrong (except in the case of injury to self or others) by all means let them. Its their choice the golden rule applies here. I believe their actions will lead to a path, a teleological path because it only has one direction to go.
ReplyDeleteI don't shut the world off completely, to clarify, my path is teleological because I choose to follow such a path. I'm sure others choose a stellar existence. Now yes my actions may effect others, I choose right now to limit my interactions that will distract from my goal. Its like turning off a cell phone in your class. I just choose not to read into other interactions.
