1. Discuss what type of time most influences yours and others' lives. Were you at all affected by what your peers were writing? Did anything unanticipated happen that ruptured your daily construct of living?
My life is most influenced by steller time. Everything in my life has some kind of purpose and draws into a bigger piece of my life. For instance, one may feel that the fact that I love to dance salsa is nonetheless but a simple hobby or interest. From my perspective, salsa allows me to tap into my creativity and expand the ways which I view things. Through salsa I expand my creative vision like painting or instruments does for others. In essence, the small activities that occur in my life have a way to intermingle and in some way affect my daily life.
when I received my paper back from my classmates I was immediately surprised to see how different the story unfolded from my original idea. Although I expected some changes I still believed that my ideas were better. Does this indicate that I am too pushy when it comes to putting ideas on the table? No, I simply like to finish things that I start. I had a vision for this story so it makes me uncomfortable to get side tracked.
On a normal day, many things occur that rapture my daily construct of living. For example, I have been smooth sailing the past few weeks with a systematic and well planned routine; however, a load of bad news and changing situations have landed on my back: My father is sick,my sister might be leaving NY and a few other things. So, there goes that short stint of smooth sailing. In brief, its rare that I get a time period without unanticipated interruptions.
2. What do you think the designer intended for us to learn through this hypertext activity? Did you find yourself running in circles? Were you attracted to certain words more than others? If so, what do you think this says about you?
I found myself running in circles. I was constantly looking to draw conclusions but could not find any. Does this say that I am bottom line driven. I would suppose so. I am accustomed to operating in a systematic process. This riddle-like piece of writing is definitely not my cup of tea although I do enjoy to solve problems.

yes but what also did you learn from our Twitter posts?
ReplyDeleteThe problem was that is was not a problem to be solved rather an adventure to live through. Very few writings are like this. Is there a sense of acceptance that you received from this piece?
ReplyDeleteI think you probably wasn't open minded enough to draw some conclusions about the hypertext activity because trust me I am not good at riddles either even I came up with a conclusion. Try relating it to your life maybe life isn't always suppose to be systematic
ReplyDeleteA key lesson I learned from this piece is what I consider "adapting to curve balls." Reading this piece was definitely outside of the norm. Generally,I pick up information quickly but not as sharp in adjusting to so called abnormally presented material. This hypertext reading is an example of such a reading. So,if I can say one thing about this piece it is that when reading, analyzing, and examining material it is crucial to prepare for "curve balls" and think outside the box.
