Twitter and different types of Times


Except facebook and myspace, twitter is another popular and fastest growing social networking that used by many people. However, twitter is not as well known as facebook or myspace, most people don’t hear about it before, including me. I’m new to twitter, before this I didn’t know what twitter is about. After signing up as a member, I find out it is another type of social networking service that enables people to post or read messages of each others. The messages which we post or read are called tweets. The maximum of a tweet is limited at 140 characters. Because of it’s simple and useful forms. Twitter has so many followers following it.


After a few days of using twitter to post and read others posts, I found out normally most of people are live in teleological time. In our life time, each of us has our own purpose and goal to achieve. So we all follow one kind of schedule which can leads us to make it become true. From the tweets that post by other classmates, most of them are about school and work, and assignment that need to be done. People also post special event that happen to them or to others. For instance, they tweet a lot about the horrible weather we have last week. Because of this many people’s normal life schedule has been affected. In this kind of situation, we can say we also live in stellar time. Chaotic time is not very often exists in our lives, for I didn’t see many posts fall in that categorist.


The hypertext of Borges’ the garden of forking paths is very difficult to understand. It talks about times in our lives. For me, it’s like there are many paths in our lives, each one looks the same to u; however, if you walked inside it, every one is different. We all don’t know which one is easier or better for us unless we choose one and walk to the end.
