I don’t know the answer for this question. I always thought that lives are many concentric circles that one by one surrounding and sharing a same center. The center is the beginning of the life. The purpose of life is struggling to jump out from one cycle and realizing there is another one surrounding. Since in elementary school, I always thought that there is one day I would get out from here and go to high school. I would meet new friends and had new life. It was the same thing when was in high school. I was still thinking there will be one day that I will move to college. Even I always have a good expectation for new life, what is the meaning for life? Are these just different circles? Sometime, I feel that I am locking in a small tiny cell. I just wanna get out from it and go to see the world. But, isn’t the world just another bigger cell which lock me and whole human race? Maybe, you will say we can use space ship to get out from our earth. But, how can you be so sure that the space is not another cell which just bigger?
If life is the circle as I said before, then how came we can have so many different choices for ourselves? Every choice will bring consequent. It just likes Teleological Time which we can not go back. If we use the labyrinth as an example, it will be better. Life is like a labyrinth. We don’t know where we are. We don’t know which way should take. We don’t know the effect of taking one way instead of others. We don’t even know what will be the destination? For example, when students graduate from high school, some students go for work and some go for college. In college there are so many major specialization, we have so many options. After we graduate, do we know which kind of job we can get? Do we know what kind of life we will live?
What is the purpose of life? What are we fighting for?
We are fighting for ourselves. We are fighting for the destination which we think. We are fighting for the life that we hope. We are fighting to be the men we expected.
